Nana Azia Garbrah-Aidoo has more than three decades experience in communication for social and behavior change in both development and emergency contexts as well as working with UNICEF and other multi-lateral and bi-lateral organizations.

Nana worked for about 15 years with in Communication for Development with UNICEF including in Sierra Leone, Rwanda, Sudan, Bangladesh (Cox’s Bazar) and Yemen.  She recently retired from UNICEF as Chief of C4D in the Yemen Country Office.

Nana holds Master’s degrees in Communication Studies and in Public Health.

She is based in Ghana, West Africa.
